Here's a real gem in one of the best trophy buck counties in MN. This rolling property has every type of cover you could ask for. This lease is part of a 700-acre farm. If you're looking for a huge lease it could be combined with property # 8643 sitting on the east side of this property (If available).
This farm was the 2010 MN Tree Farm of the year. Most of the trees that have been planted are red pine, white pine, spruce, and oak. There are also heavy oak hills/ridges running throughout the core of this lease. Scattered throughout there's other hardwoods and big oak trees. Cattail filled low spots are scattered around the property creating more great bedding areas and funnels for the deer. The snow was so deep this winter the grass was flattened during my inspection, but in the fall its thick grass in all the open areas.
The landowner mows/maintains nearly 7 miles of trails on and around this property. This allows for awesome access to every part of this farm. While viewing this property my jaw was dropping around every turn. If it wasn't a big buck rub it was sheer beauty and diversity. Everywhere we drove the deer sign was heavy and the big rubs were plentiful. This property is going to be unbelievable for both gun and bow hunting.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better we rounded the bend to the cabin on this farm. The green line on the maps marks it. The cabin is included with the price of this property, and you can respectfully use it as much as you'd like for hunting purposes. It's absolutely perfect, has wood heat and full electricity. The only thing it doesn't have is water, so you'll need to bring that. It does have a nice outhouse though. It also has a nice dry area to store wood outside.
Blue area in SW corner is a no hunting area. The landowner just built a new house there.
